Violence erupted in Dhubri over theft at Kali temple in Dhubri town

Violence erupted in Dhubri on Saturday over the theft of valuable ornaments from a Kali temple located in the Ramakrishna Mission Road at Dhubri town. The miscreants also broke a portion of the Kali idol in the temple. Six people were injured in the violence.

Meanwhile, the district administration on Saturday clamped a curfew from 7 pm to 6 am in the Dhubri town.
